Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, is a top management college founded in 1996 in Kerala, India. IIM Kozhikode courses include academic programmes and executive programmes at postgraduate and doctoral levels. Courses at IIM Kozhikode consist of five academic programmes and five executive programmes. The IIMK academic programmes include a doctoral programme in management, a post-graduate programme in management, a post-graduate programme in finance, a post-graduate programme in liberal studies and management, post-graduate programme in business leadership. The IIMK executive programmes include PhD in management (practice track), MBA- Kochi campus, executive postgraduate programmes in interactive learning mode, management development programme, and faculty development programme. As per the IIM Kozhikode curriculum, in the first year core courses are taught in 380 lessons, of which 30 hours are focused on a one-week on-campus module held at the IIM Kozhikode campus. At the same time, the rest is delivered through lectures and seminars through the Interactive Learning (IL) platform. The second year is divided into three quarters. The second year of the programmes includes optional courses from several academic disciplines. Students must select optional courses totalling 28 credits (all three quarters combined) from the list of courses provided in all academic areas to cover 280 hours of training.
